Theresa Lee “Tess” Struve, age 60, passed away unexpectedly at her home in Sheboygan Falls on May
13, 2025.
She was born in Plymouth on February 14, 1965, daughter of Sharon (Gahagan) Struve and the late
Roland Struve.
Tess graduated from Plymouth High School in 1983. Following high school she received her degree to be
a Registered Nurse from Lakeshore Technical College. She had a true passion for taking care of others
and the care and compassion she gave to her patients was unmatched. During her time as a nurse she
worked for Aurora, VNA, Sharon Richardson, and most recently Humana.
On May 13, 1995, she married Dennis Grasse. Together they owned and operated the Broken Spoke
and Golden Lion in Plymouth. Dennis preceded her in death on February 14, 2018. She was later
married to Robert Green.
Tess enjoyed golfing at Quit Qui Oc, going for motorcycle rides, reading, listening to music, and most of
all loved spending time with her family and her cats: Annie, Rudy, Joey, and the late Teddy.
She is survived by: Her mother, Sharon; Brother, Jim (Juls) Struve; Sisters: Julie Arnst (special friend, Jim
Kaehne) and Dawn (Dave) Hundt; Nieces and Nephews: Dylan (Emily), Trent (special friend, Savannah),
Sheena (Adam), Sadie (John), Macie, and Mitchell; As well as other relatives and many friends.
Tess was preceded in death by: Her first husband, Dennis; Father, Roland; and Brother, Daniel.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday (May 23, 2025) at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth.
Visitation will take place from 1:00-5:00pm, with a service to follow at 5:00pm, Fr. Philip Reifenberg
officiating. Cremation will take place following the service and she will be laid to rest at the Greenbush
Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Theresa’s name.
