Noreen M. Karbe, 81, of Sheboygan, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 3, 2025. She was born on
December 19, 1943 to the late Herman and Elnora (Mueller) Stichert in Sheboygan. She graduated from
South High School. On November 2, 1963, she united in marriage to Wilbert Karbe, Jr. at Immanuel
Lutheran Church.
Noreen was employed at Associated Bank for many years. She was a long-time member of Trinity
Lutheran Church, Sheboygan. She volunteered at the church with various things including, preparing the
church newsletters.
Noreen and Wilbert enjoyed traveling, having visited Disney World, Dollywood and Nevada multiple
times. She loved spending time with her family, especially, taking her granddaughters to amusements
parks and the zoo. She also loved bowling and was a member of the North Bowl 600 Club.
She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years Wilbert Karbe Jr.; children Michelle Austin and David
Karbe; two granddaughters, Jordan and Emily Austin; sister JoAnn Bulkow; nephew Clifford Bulkow;
sister-in-law Cheryl Green; and other relatives and friends.
Noreen is preceded in death by her parents Herman and Elnora Stichert; sister-in-law Ione Cinealis;
brother-in-law Clifford Bulkow; and her uncle and aunt, Jerome and Fran Dotz.
A Funeral Service for Noreen will be held at 1:00PM on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at Trinity Lutheran
Church, 824 Wisconsin Ave., Sheboygan, WI 53081. Relatives and friends may visit with the family at
church on Thursday from 11:00AM – 1:00PM. Entombment will take place at Lutheran Cemetery,
Sheboygan.
