Ann Hermann, age 96, passed away peacefully at Morningside Health Services on April 29,
2025. She was born in Sheboygan Falls on April 10, 1929 to the late Jacob and Mary
(Trimberger) Mersberger. She was a graduate of Central High School. On July 3, 1949, she
married the love of her life, John Hermann. Together, they raised two children, Bonnie and
Darice.
Mom, being such a people person, loved selling real estate at Shorewest Reality. She touched
the hearts of so many people by helping them fulfill their dream of owning their own home.
In their downtime, Ann and John loved playing golf in Mishicot and Door County. They also
enjoyed traveling at home and abroad with family and friends.
Ann was known for playing Sheepshead with family and would use table talk for her and her
partner to ensure a win. Later in life, Ann moved from playing Sheepshead to Kings Corners.
She was still playing cards at the age of 96.
She enjoyed living at Terrace Place and eventually Morningside Health Services. Ann made a
point of letting everyone know how much she loved them.
The family would to thank the staff at Terrace Place and Morningside Health Services, as well as
St. Nicholas Hospital for the great care they gave to our mother. We truly appreciate all of you.
Ann is survived by her children, Bonnie (Gary) Jugenheimer and Darice Hermann; her
grandchildren Jennifer (Ryan Hetzel) and Jonathan (Elizabeth Layne); and great-grandchild
Brock Hetzel. She is further survived by other relatives and friends.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Marie, Catherine, Angie and
