(WHBL) – Christian Yelich hit a sixth-inning grand slam to propel the Milwaukee Brewers to an 11-3 win over the Giants in San Francisco on Tuesday night.
Yelich drove-in a team-high four runs while Jake Bauers finished 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs scored and two RBI.
Jose Quintana earned the win and moved to 3-0 this season after six innings of one-run ball. The Brewers have won two of three to sit at 13-11.
San Fran’s Wilmer Flores went 3-for-3 with one RBI in the setback. Jordan Hicks was charged with the loss as the Giants dropped to 15-9.
Game three of the series will take place Wednesday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 8:10.
