
John J. Mitchell, 50, of Cleveland, passed away Saturday morning, April 12, 2025 at St. Vincent Hospital in Green Bay.
Born April 30, 1974 in Sheboygan, John was the son of Don W. and Mary B. Karsnick Mitchell. He attended Sheboygan area schools and graduated from South High School in 1992.
John worked as a diesel mechanic for Dean Foods for 27 years before they closed their doors. He continued working in the Sheboygan area until the time of his death. He enjoyed cooking and attending car shows. He loved spending time with his dogs but his greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughter, Elaina.
He is survived by his son, Cayden (Gracie) Mitchell, Cleveland; his granddaughter, Elaina Mitchell, Cleveland; his parents, Don and Mary Mitchell, Sheboygan; his sister, Christine (John) Bridges, Sheboygan; his niece and nephew, Emily and Zachary Bridges, Sheboygan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome to gather at the funeral home on Wednesday from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Humane Society of Sheboygan County.
The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of St. Vincent Hospital for all of their care and support.
