
William โWillieโ Krostag, 70, of Antigo, formerly of Oostburg and Grafton, passed away on Friday, March 28, 2025, at his home.
Willie was born on August 18, 1954, in Sheboygan, to Edward and Alice (Johnson) Krostag. He attended Oostburg High School. He married Shirley Cordts on April 27, 2013, in Port Washington.
Willie was a member of the Sauk Trail Conservation Club and enjoyed camping, trap shooting, fishing, and hunting. He retired from EST Foundry in Grafton (now Pace Industries), where he worked in diecast and maintenance.
Willie is survived by his wife Shirley; three brothers Eddie Krostag of Sheboygan, John (Carla) Krostag of Oostburg, Jim (special friend Jill Scholten) Krostag of Oostburg; brother-in-law Ivan (Nancy) Eernisse; special nephews and nieces: Mike Eernisse, Amy (John) Eernisse-Liang, April (Joe) Schramm, Tony (Kristin) Krostag, Alison Krostag, Helen Bell, Jan (Patty) Eernisse, Jamie (Heidi) Eernisse. He is further survived by many great nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law Howard and Ardis Cordts, sister Ann Eernisse, sister-in-law Denise Krostag, and brother-in-law Mike Cordts.
A memorial service for Willie will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2025, at First Presbyterian Church in Oostburg at 11:00am.
Relatives and friends may greet the family on Friday, at Wenig Funeral Home in Oostburg from 4:00-7:00pm and again at church on Saturday from 10:00-11:00am.
Memorials are appreciated in Willieโs name to First Presbyterian Church or Sauk Trail Conservation Club.
