BRONX, NY (WHBL) – The New York Yankees took down the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2 on Opening Day from the Bronx.
Freddy Peralta suffered the loss despite striking out eight batters over five innings.
Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe homered for New York while Carlos Rodon earned the win after giving up one run over five-plus innings.
Milwaukee continues the three-game series Saturday afternoon.
