A New Holstein area child has lost their life in a fire. The Calumet County Sheriff’s Office along with the State Fire Marshal’s office is investigating how a fire started in a home on Honeymoon Hill Road near County Rd. T., about 3 miles north of the City of New Holstein.
Crews performed life saving measures to the child, but the child was pronounced dead when they arrived at the hospital. No other information has been released as officials will continue to investigate the fire.
