Darrell A. Wilke, 84, of Sheboygan, passed away on Saturday, March 22,2025, at Aurora Medical Center Sheboygan. He was born, June 15, 1940, in Sheboygan to the late George Arno and Gladys Anita (Huhn) Wilke. Darrell graduated from Sheboygan North High School with the Class of 1958. Following graduation Darrell proudly joined and served with the US Army. On March 23, 1991, he was united in marriage to Emily B. (Arrowood) Cole at St. Paul Ev. Lutheran Church in Sheboygan.
Darrell work for the Vollrath Company for 42 years.
He was an avid outdoors man, enjoying hunting, fishing and camping up north. He was a true Packer and Brewer fan watching as many games as he could. He also loved to Polka and enjoyed socializing with his family and friends.
Darrell is survived by his wife of 34 years Emily, children; Debra (Albert) Pena of TX, James (Heidi) Wilke of SC, Jeff Wilke of NC, Emily (Pat) Fale, Tommie Jean (Bart) Jensen, Jeff (Deborah) Cole all of WI, and Steve (Juli) Cole of SC, 20 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Sharon Wilke. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Darrell was preceded in death by his parents, brother Kenneth Wilke, sister LaVon (Jim) Dassler, daughter-in-law Patty Wilke and grandchildren, Adam Fale, Eric Cole, Angie Cole and Melissa Cole.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 28, 2025, at 12:30 PM at Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 1132 Superior Ave., Sheboygan with his grandson Aaron Fale officiating. Burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Friday, March 28, 2025, from 11:30 AM until the time of service at the FUNERAL HOME.
