Thereโs plenty of maintenance work scheduled for Sheboygan County Highways by the Wisconsin DOT this week.
Highway 23 westbound will undergo beam guard repairs at County Highway โAโ each day this week between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Drivers should be prepared to slow or stop as lane closures will be needed.
Pavement repairs to both east and westbound 23 will be taking place at various locations along its length Monday through Friday this week, also between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Moving lane closures will be managing the traffic flow at those spots.
Both directions of Highway 57 will also be getting pavement repairs with moving lane closures each day this week between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.
The relocation of utilities on Highway 32 in Cedar Grove continues this week, with that road โ also called Main Avenue, being closed between South Commerce Street and Willow Avenues to semi trucks and buses. The DOT did indicate that local traffic will have access. That activity is expected to take until mid-April to complete, weather permitting, and that will also dovetail with the major reconstruction of 32 between Cedar Grove and Sheboygan Falls that begins next week Monday.
As always, slow down and use extra caution for safety when driving through work zones.
