City of Sheboygan Department of Public Works
With a bounty of branches to process, the Sheboygan Department of Public Works will need to spend at least one uninterrupted day taking care of their disposal. And so the Residential Recycling Center on New Jersey Avenue will be closed to the public on Wednesday. With that exception, you will be able to take your recyclables there the rest of the week between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.
The City is closing on Wednesday because the branch grinding operations can be dangerous, and so for the safety of residents and the equipment, the gates will be closed.
Although not normally open on Saturdays until April anyway, the DPW said that it will keep the gates closed this weekend as they complete processing those branches.
