The latest info from the National Weather Service supports the 5 p.m. end-time of a Wind Advisory, and affirms the chance of some light snow by morning…not atypical of mid-March weather in these parts.
The declining winds will lead to colder temperatures tonight, as the departing force behind the stormy weather makes a cold exit with snow that could add up to an inch-and-a-half or so. Most of that is anticipated to collect on elevated and grassy surfaces, but some slick spots aren’t out of the question.
Whatever does fall should be done by midday Sunday; sunshine should break through and, along with temperatures rising into the upper 30s, that’s expected to make short work of whatever snow accumulates.
The new week then begins with unremarkable weather…40s for highs, 30s for lows, moderate winds and partly sunny skies until Wednesday.
