Sheboygan County voters with questions for candidates on the April ballot can get them answered through the Sheboygan County Chamber of Commerce. Candidate forums have been scheduled to take place throughout the day on Monday, March 10th in the Chamber’s conference room at their headquarters on South 8th Street. Questions will be gathered ahead of time for candidates to answer during hourly sessions beginning at 9 a.m. with Sheboygan Mayoral Candidates, incumbent Ryan Sorenson and challenger, Alder John Belanger.
At 10 a.m., candidate for Wisconsin Assembly District 1 Randy Meyer will be at the podium – his opponent, Ryan Menzer, was invited but will not attend.
The 11 a.m. session features the two candidates for State Assembly District 3, Daniel Peterson and Michael Close.
The District 7 Assembly Seat is being contested by Sheboygan Alder Grazia Perrella and former Sheboygan Mayor Juan Perez – that session follows a lunch break and begins at 1 p.m.
At 2:00, Sheboygan Falls School Board Candidates Ed Brey and John Mauer will be present. Two others, Chuck Otte and Scott Kuehn, were invited but will not be able to attend.
Finally, at 3 p.m., all five candidates for the Sheboygan Area School District Board will be available; Allie Tasche, Roger Oliver, Mary Lynne Donohue, Rhonda Brami, and Denise Wittstock have all confirmed their appearances.
Questions are being accepted via email through this Friday. Attendance is free, but advance registration is required through this link where you can locate your forum of interest.
