Rachel M. Seil, 49, of Plymouth, passed away peacefully on February 26, 2025.
She was born on February 8, 1976, in Sheboygan, WI, the daughter of the late
Kenneth Seil and Joan (Murphy) Seil.
Rachel graduated from Plymouth High School in 1994 and pursued her passion for
justice by attending the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, where she earned a
degree in Criminal Justice. After graduation, she dedicated herself to making a
difference in the community, by working as a Probation and Parole Officer. In
addition to her career in criminal justice, Rachel held a variety of other jobs
throughout the years.
Rachel’s greatest source of happiness and pride was her beloved daughter,
Ashleigh. From the moment Ashleigh was born, Rachel’s life was enriched by the
joy of watching her grow into a remarkable young woman.
She found joy in simple pleasures, such as playing bingo, reading, and writing.
Rachel also loved sharing her passion for horses with her daughter and spending
time at her dad’s farm. She did all of this while sharing her infectious laugh, which
could light up any room. These moments will be cherished by all who knew her.
Survivors include her daughter, Ashleigh Mahloch (significant other Jacob
Eernisse); her brother, Andy (Amy) Seil; her sister, Diane Seil; her nephews,
Waylon Seil and Elijah Wagner; her niece, Kelsey Seil; and many other relatives
and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A celebration of Rachel’s life will be held at a later date.
