The City of Plymouth will play host to an exhibit by more than 66 Wisconsin-based artists beginning next week. The 2025 Wisconsin Craft Biennial Members’ Exhibition will be on display at the Plymouth Arts Center from March 7th through April 25th.
A wide range of media is expected to include sculpture, ceramics, fiber, jewelry, wood, metal, glass, mixed media, photography, printmaking and painting. Nearly all items will be available for purchase, something that helps the artists to avoid taking on the “starving-artist” stereotype, while the changing venue location every other year gives people all over the state exposure to their unique pieces.
Wisconsin Crafts’ President, Kate Marotz, said that partnering with the Plymouth Arts Center provides just such an opportunity for residents of east central Wisconsin. And while many exhibitors hail from larger cities like Milwaukee and Madison, one artist this year could be considered “hometown”, coming from the Sheboygan County Village of Adell – population 517.
Admission to the Plymouth Arts Center, and The Wisconsin Craft Biennial Members’ Exhibition, are free, but donations are gladly accepted.
