Wisconsin DOT crews will be busy in several locations this week in Sheboygan County. The four areas will involve either beamguard repairs, or the clearing and grubbing of vegetation.
First up will be that shoulder-area work removing debris and growth along both north and southbound Highway 67 at various locations beginning at 7 a.m. today, and continuing daily until 3 p.m. through this Friday. An identical schedule is planned for clearing along the east and westbound lanes of Highway28. Motorists are advised to look for flag crews warning of the operations.
Between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. this Monday through Friday, beamguard repairs will take place on northbound I-43 at Highway 42. That will require a lane closure for operations to be conducted.
Another set of beamguards will be repaired on westbound Highway 23 in Sheboygan County each day Tuesday through Friday between 8 and 3 this week. Again, watch for lane closures there.
The DOT added that weather may impact those schedules, and reminded motorists to exercise caution for the safety of crews and motorists alike.
