Marsha Lynn (Baumann) Ries, 73, of Sheboygan, went home to be with her
Heavenly Father and to be reunited with her husband William who passed
into heaven on December 19, 1997. Marsha was born February 28, 1951,
in Sheboygan, where she lived most of her life. Marsha attended South
High School.
On March 28, 1969, she married her High School sweetheart William Ries.
They were married 28 years.
Marsha has three beautiful and loving daughters. Tina (Jack Madson)
Lukonen of Sheboygan, Mandy (Bill Sachse) Hinz of Sheboygan,
Stephanie (Jason) Soerens of Green Cove Springs, FL. She also was
blessed with seven wonderful grandchildren; Trevor (Nicole) Lukonen,
Tamara (Jose) Lukonen-Morado, Jacob Hinz, Timothy – John Sachse,
Jayce Soerens, Sasha Soerens, and Xavier Soerens, and eleven great-
grandchildren; Blake, Chase, Colt, Kinsley, Titan, and Kamdyn Lukonen,
Avyelle and Adriel Lukonen-Morado, Elizabeth, Natalie, and Liam Hinz, and
one on the way. Marsha loved her Lord and family and friends deeply.
Marsha had a Home Day Care for 30 years. Marsha was happily active in
her church, Plymouth Alliance, and felt they were her second family. She
enjoyed doing crafts, Bible Studies, reading and traveling. She loved
mostly to be around her family. Marsha is also survived by three brothers;
Mark (Chris)Baumann of Elkhart Lake, Kurt Arens of Greer, SC and Drew
Arens of Adell, two sisters; Susan (Terry) Martin of Sheboygan and Lisa
Binverse of Plymouth, and many beloved nieces, nephews, and special
friends.
Our sincere thanks to the many wonderful family members and great
friends who have loved and helped Marsha all her life with love and
prayers.
A Celebration of Marsha's Life will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025,
from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Plymouth Alliance Church 1203 Fairview Dr.
Plymouth.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Plymouth Alliance Church in
Marsha's name.
