
Eugene C. Rudie, age 95, of Sheboygan, died on Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice. He was born in Sheboygan on March 29, 1929, to the late Norman and Esther Wilke Rudie.
Eugene attended local schools in the Sheboygan area. On June 25, 1955, he was united in marriage to Iris Wolfgram at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Sheboygan. He was employed at Kohler Company in the Brass division for 24 years, retiring in 1993.
He was a longtime member of Immanuel Church in Sheboygan. Eugene enjoyed golfing with “The Legends” at Riverdale, fishing, hunting, and was an avid Green Bay Packer fan.
Survivors include his wife, Iris Rudie, of Sheboygan; three sons, Michael (Michele) Rudie, of Waldo, Jeffery (Carol) Rudie, of Sheboygan, and Alan Rudie, of Alma, CO; a sister, Donna Janke, of northern Wisconsin; and his sister-in-law, Vicki (Tom) Hamilton, of Mequon. Eugene was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, Ralph, Donnie, and Norm Rudie, and his sister, Lois Anderson.
A funeral service for Eugene will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Rev. Donald Johnson officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Entombment will take place in the Garden Terrace Mausoleum at Lutheran Cemetery.
