
Robert Adolph Albrecht, age 80, passed away in Sheboygan on Thursday,
January 30, 2025. He was born on July 24, 1944 in Sheboygan to the late
Louis and Anita (Roehrborn) Albrecht. On June 13, 1970, he was united in
marriage to Janis (Gumm)Albrecht at Grace UCC in Kohler. Together they
raised four boys; Jason (Lori), of Sheboygan, Daniel (Angela) of Gibbsville,
Cory (Abegail) of Plymouth, and Ronald (Special friend Patti Stuefen) of
Sheboygan.
Robert worked at Kohler company as a member of the Pottery team, retiring
after 44 years of service. He was a member of Ebenezer United Church of
Christ in Sheboygan for many decades, actively serving as both an Elder and a
Deacon. He was also a member of the property committee, the men’s
breakfast club, and could be found on any given day at Kim’s 5 Corners. He
loved to play cards, bowl, watch his Brewers and Packers on tv, watch old
westerns, and spending time with his fur baby Chopper. Above all, he was a
devoted friend and family man, always available to offer advise or just being
present. The world could use more men like Robert.
Robert is survived by his children Jason (Lori), Daniel (Angela), Cory
(Abegail), and Ronald (Special friend Patti Stuefen). He is further survived by
his seven grandchildren; Casandra (Special friend Josh Payne), Kyra,
Shaunna, Shayla, Braeden, Tiffanie, and Tyler; great granddaughter Teresa,
his siblings Irene Yurk, and Louis Albrecht, and his fur baby Chopper. He is
further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his wife Janis, and
his siblings Harriet (James) Tershner and Eugene Albrecht.
A funeral service will be held at Ebenezer United Church of Christ, 3215
Saemann Ave, Sheboygan, WI 53081, on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at
4:00 p.m., with Pastor Lorri Steward officiating. Relatives and friends may
visit with the family from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the Church.
Burial will be private.
