Nobody was injured and pets were rescued after fire struck a north side Sheboygan home on Thursday afternoon.
First reports of the fire in the 2200 block of North 10th Street came into the County Emergency Communications Center shortly after 1 p.m. Before the call was completed, neighbors ran to alert fire crews who were already on the scene of a nearby EMS call, making for very rapid response that minimized damageโฆbut that still amounted to an estimated $75,000.
