Bonnie Jean Hasler, 92, of Sheboygan Falls, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Loving Savior on Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice.
Bonnie was born August 5, 1932 in Kiel, the daughter of Louis Sr. and Katherine (Meyer) Koeser. On June 20, 1953 she was united in marriage with Marvin Hasler at St. George Catholic Church in Elkhart Lake. The couple lived in Sheboygan Falls, where they raised their 4 children. The couple celebrated 59 years together before Marvin preceded her in death in 2012.
Bonnie was a faithful, lifetime member of Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls, where she was the โstuffing ladyโ for the annual Turkey Dinner and served on the funeral luncheon committee for nearly 50 years. She volunteered at the local Food Pantry, and enjoyed doing jigsaw puzzles, playing Yahtzee, bingo and cards, traveling with Marvin, going for walks, and trips to the casino with her husband and her sisters.
Bonnie is survived by three daughters, Kathy LaVora of Plymouth, Cindy (Larry) Fahney of Watertown, Pat (Vic) Haen of Sheboygan; one son, Mark (Deb) Hasler of Sheboygan Falls; 10 grandchildren, Cory (Kim) Voskuil, Trisha (Jamie) Cahee, Nicole (Tyler) Pike, Abby (Chet) Gocha, Kelly Vande Vreugde, Katie Vande Vreugde, Amy (Dan) Springhetti, Stephanie (Max) Martin, Matthew (Jessi) Hasler, and Staci (Derek) Haley; great-grandchildren: Gabriel Voskuil, Cody and Emma Pike, Maverick and Moxie Gocha, Madison and Cooper Springhetti, Thea and Avery Martin, McKenna Hasler and Baby Haley on the way; sisters Marlene Frauenfeld and Virginia Voland; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, siblings Delores (Leroy) Schweitzer, Elaine (Eugene) Christel, Audrey (Roger) Zorn, Elroy (Joanne) Koeser and Louis Koeser Jr. and brothers-in-law Victor Frauenfeld and Elwood Voland.
A Mass of Christian Burial to celebrate Bonnieโs life will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Blessed Trinity Parish in Sheboygan Falls with Father Bob Lotz officiating. She will be laid to rest beside Marvin at St. Maryโs Cemetery in Sheboygan Falls.
The family will receive visitors at the church on Saturday from 10:00AM-12:00 noon.
