Veterans in need of information and support will be able to meet with experts on Thursday. The Milwaukee Veterans Center’s Mobile Vet Center Truck will be parked on 7th Street at the Herb Kohler and Natalie Black Community Cafe hosted by St. Luke United Methodist Church from 7 a.m. until 1 p.m tomorrow.
The mobile center offers free, confidential counseling for veterans, service members and their families at no cost in a non-medical setting. It’s especially intended for those with concerns about depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and any other related issues.
The Herb Kohler and Natalie Black Community Cafe is a recent addition to the Sheboygan County Food Bank in response for the increase in demand for emergency food that now offers free warm meals and coffee over the lunch hours every Monday through Saturday in the same building that operates the Sheboygan County Warming Center.
Thursday’s visit by the VA truck isn’t part of a regular visit schedule. All City Alderpersons have been invited to view the facility
