
Betty L. Fenner, age 99, of Sheboygan Falls, WI, passed away peacefully at Rocky Knoll Health
Care Facility on January 14, 2025 where she was a resident for several years.
She was born on March 3, 1925 in Sheboygan Falls, WI, a daughter of the late William and
Louise (McDougal) Nelson.
Betty attended Sheboygan Falls Grade School and graduated from Sheboygan Falls High School.
On August 25, 1945, she married Robert H. Fenner in Sheboygan Falls. He preceded her in
death on May 13, 2009.
Betty worked as a bookkeeper for Falls Creamery and H.C. Prange, but mostly she stayed home
to take care of her two children and help on the farm.
She was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Sheboygan Falls and St. Paul’s Ladies
Auxiliary. Betty volunteered for the Falls Food Pantry for many years.
Betty enjoyed playing in several card clubs, taking bus trips and traveling with her husband, and
spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include her two children, Robert W. (Jacki) Fenner and Nan Pierce; six grandchildren,
Rob Fenner, Joe (Tanya) Fenner, Annie Fenner (special friend Mike), Jeremy Pierce, Jason
(Kimbra) Pierce, and Julianna Nemeth; 11 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews,
other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Melvin Nelson, and sister, Vivian
Dickson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24, 2025, at the Suchon Funeral Home in Plymouth
from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM; with a memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM. Rev. Kyle Backhaus,
Pastor of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church will officiate. Inurnment will be at Greenlawn Memorial
Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Sharon S. Richardson Community Hospice or
Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility in memory of Betty.
