Slippery conditions have developed on several area roadways, just as the National Weather Service had advised on Thursday. The chance for some light freezing drizzle and flurries was noted Thursday afternoon, and although early-morning radar wasn’t showing much, there apparently was enough to make portions of Highways 57 and 33 north and west of Port Washington slippery in spots according to 511 Wisconsin. Those spots, however, were short-lived, and the National Weather Service issued no advisories.
Forecasts indicate a half inch of snow or less isn’t out-of-the-question for this Friday morning, but anything that does fall should be tapering and ending before noon.
Attention then turns to Saturday night through Sunday when another inch or two of snow could fall, with the greatest likelihood now seen to our southwest.
