One regional industry has been included in a group 21 being considered for the title of the Wisconsin Manufacturer of the Year”. The honor is an annual award, now in its 36th year, from Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce. The program, sponsored by Baker Tilly, Michael Best & Fredrich LLP and Wisconsin Manufacturers and Commerce, recognizes the state’s top manufacturers of all sectors and sizes for innovations, philanthropy, technological advances, commitment to customer satisfaction, and the quality jobs they create.
The awards are given in four size categories: Small, Medium, Large, and Mega, and judges may also decide to honor a company with a Special Award of Excellence.
Among the nominees this year is Redline Plastics, LLC of Manitowoc, which does custom molding, forming, 3-D printing, and assembly of customer orders in sizes as large as sixteen feet in diameter.
Redline is among five others in the Medium Category, employing between 100 and 249 employees. The finalists will be celebrated and winners announced at a black tie awards program on February 20th at Milwaukee’s historic Pfister Hotel.
