At least a dozen vehicles ended up in area ditches thanks to the slick roads across Sheboygan County yesterday morning.
While advisories for slippery travel were issued for Milwaukee, Racine and Kenosha Counties, only light snow showers and flurries were predicted for Sheboygan County. However, an unexpected light freezing drizzle affected areas, especially inland of Lake Michigan for a few hours. As a result, the Sheriff’s Department says vehicles began experiencing control issues.
One crash involved a semi and 2 other vehicles on I-43 Northbound that caused backups for several miles. There were no reports of any serious injuries.
