The season of giving continues all year for regular donors to the American Red Cross’ blood drives, and the organization is urging people to make appointments to donate now.
Jen Warren with the Wisconsin Region of the American Red Cross says it’s always important to keep sufficient supplies for emergencies and surgeries. And with January declared as National Blood Donor Month, it’s a perfect time to donate blood or platelets.
Incentives are being offered to those donating now through January 26th in the form of entry into a drawing for a Super Bowl giveaway. In partnership with the NFL, the package includes access to day-of in-stadium pre-game activities, tickets to the official Super Bowl Experience, round-trip airfare, three night hotel accommodations, plus a $1,000 gift card to cover expenses. Full details are available at RedCrossBlood.org/SuperBowl.
