Elvera Ileen Ottman (nee Abel), passed away on Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Aurora Medical Center – Sheboygan. She was 89 years old.
Elvera was born February 4, 1935 in Berlin, WI, the daughter of Albert and Anna (Fritz) Abel. She attended Berlin High School, graduating in 1953.
Elvera was united in marriage to Harold Ottman on October 5, 1957 at St. Michael’s in Berlin, WI. He preceded her in death in 2023.
A longtime member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Elvera enjoyed being involved with the Ladies Auxiliary. She loved baking, reading, playing cards, jigsaw puzzles, word searches, and traveling.
Elvera is survived by her children James (Nancy) Ottman, Darryl (Brenda) Ottman and Lynette Lammers, all of Sheboygan Falls and daughter-in-law Donna Ottman of Sheboygan Falls. She is further survived by grandchildren: Dylan (Katie) Ottman, Derek (Sarah) Ottman, Clayton Ottman, Morgan (Mickey) Moore, Brett Lammers, and Bryan (Courtney) Lammers; great-grandchildren: Sedona, Liberty, Trace, Zander, Griffin, Miles, Richard and one on the way; sisters-in-law Donna (Robert) Petit of Berlin and Nancy Seaman of Almond; brothers-in-law Raymond (Shirley) Ottman of Sheboygan Falls and Ronald Naparalla Sr of Fremont; cousin Gloria Schultz; nephew Gary (Pam) Abel; many Ottman nieces and nephews,
She is preceded in death by her husband Harold, son Steven, brother Marlin (Adeline) Abel and many brothers- and sisters-in-law.
Funeral Services will be held at 12:00PM noon on Friday, January 3, 2025 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 730 Cty Hwy PPP in Sheboygan Falls. The family will receive visitors at the church on Friday from 10:00AM-12:00PM. She will be laid to rest at Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.
