Lynda and Steven Larson passed away together mid-morning on December 21, 2024, both at the age of 77. They reunited with their son, Adam, who had left this world too early many years ago.
Lynda (maiden name White) was born on June 13, 1947, to parents Florence and Lloyd White, and grew up in Olivia, Minnesota. Steven was born on October 26, 1947, to parents Berdine (Bud) and Bernadette Larson. He grew up in Victoria, Minnesota. The two met on a blind date and were united in marriage in 1969, championing 55 years of big love.
Lynda enjoyed music, playing, and teaching the piano, gardening, journaling, faith, and singing in the choir. Steven was into golf, the great outdoors, chasing whitetails, word searches, and had one of the greatest collection of hoodies and polos ever seen.
Both Lynda and Steven dedicated their entire professional lives to teaching for the Sheboygan Area School District. Their cabin near Crivitz provided many years of memories, adventures, projects, and joy. They loved slow walks at Kohler-Andre Park, calm early mornings fishing on Lake Michigan, cheering on the Green Bay Packers and spending time with their family and loved ones.
Survivors include their two children, Aimee (Thomas) Spatt, of Plymouth, and Paul (Erica Goad) Larson, of Moab, UT; two grandchildren, Ethan and Elissa Spatt; and a sister of Steve, Janice (Dale) Mulfinger, of Minneapolis, MN. Many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends survive. Steve and Lynda were preceded in death by their parents, a son, Adam Larson, and Lynda’s brother, Robert White.
Lynda and Steven’s kindness, generosity, and commitment to one another set a good example for a life well-lived. They will be missed greatly by all the lives that they have touched.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Steve and Lynda will be celebrated on Friday, January 3, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, 822 New Jersey Ave. Sheboygan, with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the church on Friday morning (Jan. 3) from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 12:00 p.m. Burial will take place at Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to a charity of choice in Steve and Lynda’s name. The Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements. Online condolences may be expressed at www.reinboldfh.com
