City of Sheboygan residents are being given a heads-up on schedule changes for garbage and recycling during the holidays.
With both Christmas and New Years Day falling on Wednesdays, the schedule will be identical for both of the next two weeks. Monday and Tuesday pickups will take place as usual, with no collection on either Christmas or New Years Day. Then, the Wednesday pickups will be done on Thursday, Thursday’s on Friday, and Friday’s collections taking place on the following Saturdays.
The New Jersey Avenue Recycling Center will have a slightly different schedule. There will be no services offered on either Tuesday, Christmas Eve or Wednesday, Christmas Day, and will also be closed on Saturday the 28th. An identical schedule will repeat around the New Year holiday.
