Sheboygan Police Department
Sheboygan’s Board of Police and Fire Commissioners met on Saturday to do a final review of candidates for the City’s next Chief of Police. Results of that meeting could be made known today ahead of tonight’s Common Council meeting. The Board’s choices included current Assistant Chief Kurt Zempel, Captain Doug Teunissen, and Lieutenant Joel Kuszynski. There was no announcement made following the conclusion of Saturday’s meeting.
Christopher Domagalski, who has served as Chief since 2010, announced his retirement in early November. His last day on the job will be January 20th.
