Theodore “Ted” Korlesky Jr., age 89, of Sheboygan, died on Monday, November 25, 2024, at Countryside Manor in Sheboygan. He was born on March 31, 1935, in Sheboygan to the late Theodore Sr. and Dorothy Beringer Korlesky.
Ted attended local schools and graduated from Sheboygan Central High School in 1955. He then went to Lakeshore Technical Institute for 4 years to be a tool & die maker. Ted was employed at the Vollrath Company for 43 years in the tool & die department. He retired in 2000. On July 1, 1961, Ted was united in marriage to Sharon Stuefen. Sharon preceded him in death on April 17, 2020.
Ted was a current member of St. Peter Claver Catholic Church in Sheboygan, and in his earlier years a Boy Scout leader. He enjoyed fishing, hiking, camping, antiques, and auctions.
Survivors include his son, Michael (Lori) Korlesky, of Sheboygan; and a sister, Lillian (David) Wiedner, of Sheboygan Falls. Ted is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and his daughter, Michelle Korlesky.
A funeral service for Ted will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at the Reinbold-Novak Funeral Home, 1535 S. 12th Street, Sheboygan with Fr. Paul Fliss officiating. Family and friends may gather at the funeral home on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of Mass at 1:00 p.m. Entombment will take place at Greenlawn Memorial Park in the Town of Sheboygan.
