A key figure in a child pornography case that landed a former City of Sheboygan HR director in the hands of the law has been convicted of 21 criminal offenses for his part in the episode. Former Racine County Sheriff’s Deputy Preston Kite entered guilty pleas in Racine County Court on Friday, and sentencing was set for next week Thursday.
The 37-year-old Kite was discovered exchanging videos containing sexually explicit conduct by a child with 35-year-old Adam Westbrook, the former City of Sheboygan Human Resources Director. Westbrook took the videos last January, and the exchange with Kite led to his arrest. Westbrook entered guilty pleas to his charges in September – he’ll also be sentenced next Thursday.
Another two persons were eventually connected to the exchanges and each entered guilty pleas. 30-year-old Jacob Boudreau of Appleton and 21-year-old Noah Thiel of Oconomowoc are still awaiting their sentencing hearings.
