Kenneth C. Lerch, 82, of Sheboygan, passed away Sunday, November 25, 2024, at Rocky Knoll Healthcare Center surrounded by his family.
Born January 10, 1942, in Sheboygan, Kenneth was a son of the late Sylvester and Victoria Mertens Lerch. He attended Kiel area schools and graduated from Kiel High School in 1960. On December 12, 1982, he was united in marriage to Cynthia M. Feld at St. Andrews Lutheran Church.
Ken worked as an inspector in the engine division at the Kohler Co. for 37 years before his retirement. Ken enjoyed going for long rides in the car and belonged to the Studebaker Drivers Club. One of his greatest joys was going out to eat with his friends and family.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cynthia; his son, James Lerch, Sheboygan; his grandchildren, Bill, Jon, and Matt Lerch, Sheboygan; his sisters, Kay (Loyal) Kattreh, Manitowoc, and Shirley (Ed) Humston, Phoenix, AZ; his brother, Dick (Joanne) Lerch, Kiel; sister-in-law, Melody (Todd) Franks, Sheboygan; brothers-in-law, Todd (Carie) Feld, Sheboygan, and Ron Bohrmueller, White Lake; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Maurer and Mary Lerch; his mother and father-in-law, Marion and Ray Feld; his sister-in-law, Sherry Bohrmueller; a niece-in-law, Dianna Buchman; many aunts, uncles, and other relatives.
Family and friends are welcome to gather from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan.
A memorial fund has been established in Ken’s name.
The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of Rocky Knoll and Vitas Healthcare for all of their loving care and support.
