Roy W. Wyatt, Jr., 78, of Sheboygan, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Sheboygan Senior Community where he had been residing.
Born October 7, 1946, in Fort Worth, TX, Roy was a son of the late Roy, Sr. and Florence Ruth Box Wyatt. He served his country in the U.S. Navy. On October 22, 1967, he was united in marriage to Shirley A. Maser in Green Lake, WI.
Roy was a truck driver for H.O. Wolding Company for many years before his retirement. He previously worked as a welder for Square D. He enjoyed country music, cars, visiting casinos and playing the slot machines. One of his greatest joys was spending time with family in Kentucky.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Shirley; his children, James (Cindy) Wyatt, Oshkosh, Joseph Wyatt, Oshkosh and Ray (Jeffrey) Wyatt, Sheboygan; grandchildren; great grandchildren; his brother, Randy Wyatt; his sisters, Brenda Wyatt and June Wyatt; other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kathleen; two sisters, Linda Back and Alice Wyatt; and a brother, Arthur Carter.
A memorial service for Roy will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 15, 2024, at the Olson Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1132 Superior Avenue, Sheboygan. Family and friends are welcome at the funeral home on Friday from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
A memorial fund has been established in his name.
