The City of Sheboygan is faced with managing issues that arose in its information network. A release from City Administrator Casey Bradley issued on Thursday afternoon stated that:
“Leaders of the city of Sheboygan know that people rely on us for critical services. Our primary mission is to provide excellent service to our residents.
We learned late last week of a potential issue with our network. We immediately engaged experts to determine more, and we continue to work closely with them. In an abundance of caution, we have isolated our network. We are currently assessing the situation, prioritizing solutions, and working diligently with technical teams to restore full functionality as quickly and smoothly as possible.”
The City said that more information will be released as it becomes available, but noted that it is currently early in the process, and only limited information is available for now.
Telephone service is still open for those needing to contact City Hall for support or services through the main number at 920-459-4000.
