A cold front draped across southwestern Wisconsin this noon hour is expected to progress eastward across the state, reaching Sheboygan’s Lake Michigan shore sometime between 4 and 6 p.m. With it, winds could briefly gust to between 40 and 50 mph from the southwest according to the National Weather Service. Accompanying that transition will be some thunderstorms, and an isolated, brief, and weak tornado could result, although the odds are very low. As for heavy rainfall, the areas most vulnerable will be portions of southwestern to central Wisconsin, and the greatest risk should be over by 6 p.m. tonight.
Afterwards, Wednesday should dawn partly sunny with highs eventually reaching the mid 50s.
