A new Chief Administrative Officer has been announced at Sheboygan’s HSHS St. Nicholas Hospital. He is Andrew Bowman, who most recently served as Executive Director of Specialty Care for the former HSHS Sacred Heart and St. Joseph’s Hospitals and Prevea clinics in Western Wisconsin. Bowman has spent the past 15 years as an administrator with HSHS and its partner, Prevea. His new position comes as HSHS reorganizes its executive leadership team in the wake of facility closures earlier this year in Eau Claire and Chippewa Falls. Bowman holds an Associate Degree in Nursing from North Iowa Community College, and a Bachelor of Science in Healthcare Administration from Concordia University, Wisconsin.
Upon taking his new position Bowman said that he was honored to be a part of carrying out the mission that the Hospital Sisters began in the Sheboygan community over 130 years ago. He added that HSHS is now positioned for growth, and looks forward to providing the health care this region needs – and wants.
