MILWAUKEE, WI (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers avoided getting swept at home, as they took the series finale on Sunday against the Miami Marlins by a final of 6-2 at American Family Field.
Jake Bauers crushed a two-run homer and Jackson Chourio slugged a solo shot for the Crew.
Jakob Junis got the win in relief as Milwaukee improved to 60-45.
Xavier Edwards hit for the cycle for Miami, going 4-for-4 with a single, double, triple and solo home run to complete the second cycle in team history.
Starter Kyle Tyler gave up four runs in four innings to fall to 0-2.
The Brewers open up a three game series with the Atlanta Braves at American Family Field on Monday night. Pregame coverage on WHBL begins at 6:35.
