DENVER, CO (WHBL) -The Milwaukee Brewers scored two runs in the top of the ninth to defeat the Colorado Rockies 4-3 at Coors Field on Tuesday night.
Willy Adames brought home a run on a sacrifice fly to tie the game before Rhys Hoskins was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded to score the game-winner.
Sal Frelick and Brice Turang each had an RBI, while Christian Yelich recorded a team-high three hits.
Rob Zastryzny earned his first win, while Trevor Megill notched his 18th save.
The Rockies’ Brenton Doyle hit his 10th homer of the season in the setback. Nick Mears was charged with the loss.
Game three of the four-game series takes place Wednesday night with pregame coverage on WHBL beginning at 7:05.
