PITTSBURGH, PA (WHBL) – The Milwaukee Brewers have lost two straight games to the Pirates following a 2-1 defeat in Pittsburgh on Tuesday night.
Gary Sanchez provided all of the Brewers’ offense with an eighth-inning homer. Tobias Myers got saddled with the loss after giving up one run over five innings.
Andrew McCutchen blasted a leadoff homer for the second game in a row to propel the Pirates. Connor Joe singled-home Bryan Reynolds in the sixth inning, which proved to be the game-winning run.
Pittsburgh improved to 13-11 and sits fourth in the highly competitive NL Central.
Milwaukee dropped to 14-8, but still leads the NL Central.
