A Republican has entered the race for the new 27th Assembly District this fall. According to her website (lindeeforwiassembly.com) Lindee Brill of Oostburg describes herself as “a child of God, a blessed wife, an honored mother of 3 and a proud American and Wisconsinite”, four things she says drives her conservative, Christian viewpoints.
Brill says she’s pro-life and believes life begins at conception and, as an adoptive mother, supports life-affirming care for all women facing pregnancies and will work to remove financial barriers to adoption. And with children in both private and public schools, she supports school choice.
Incumbent Terry Katsma has not yet announced his intentions since new redistricting maps put his Oostburg residence into the 27th Assembly District. Assuming Katsma takes up the challenge, he would face Brill in the August 13th Primary with the winner advancing to the November general election.
