One person with a warrant out for his arrest added to his trouble before that arrest was eventually made on Sunday night.
Sheboygan County Sheriff’s Deputies tried to stop an SUV that was northbound on I-43 near Wilson-Lima Road after learning of the outstanding warrant. That was at about 8:45 last night.
The driver fled the Sheriff’s attempts to stop him, leading a chase northbound to Highway 28 where he reversed directions, attempting to evade deputies by driving southbound past Cedar Grove.
Deputies set out spike strips in order to stop the vehicle, but before reaching them the engine on the SUV failed, forcing an end to the chase just north of the Ozaukee County line where the driver was arrested shortly before 9 p.m.
