(Reuters) – The men’s World Cup downhill race in Beaver Creek, Colorado, that was scheduled to be held on Saturday has been cancelled due to wind and heavy snowfall, the International Ski Federation (FIS) announced on social media.
It is the second consecutive day an event at the Birds of Prey course was cancelled after Friday’s men’s downhill was also called off due to heavy overnight snow.
A men’s super-G race is still scheduled for Sunday at Beaver Creek.
