WAUKESHA, WI (WTAQ-METRO) – A judge says one of the girls from the Slender Man case no longer has to wear her GPS tracker.
The judge yesterday said Anissa Weier has complied with all of the terms of her release from a state mental hospital two years ago, and no longer needs to be under 24/7 supervision. Weier still must spend every night at her father’s house, and must get permission to leave Waukesha County.
Weier was just 12-years-old when she and Morgan Geyser stabbed another 12-year-old friend to appease the Slender Man.
Weier was released from state custody two years ago, Geyser remains in the state mental hospital. She’s expected to ask to be released next year.
