The Land and Water Resources Bureau is seeking a grants specialist to perform program planning, implementation, and management of grant programs, with a major focus on the Soil and Water Resource Management (SWRM) grant program, as well as support for the Nitrogen Optimization Pilot Program, Conservation Reserve Enhancement Program (CREP), and Crop Insurance Rebate programs.
This position oversees and directs activities related to grant administration, and provides analysis and recommendations regarding program planning, policies, and procedures. With respect to each program area, this position is responsible for creating and managing contracts, processing payments, developing and providing outreach, offering technical support, and performing program evaluation.
