MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — There are currently about 2,500 certified hunter education instructors statewide, and Department of Natural Resources Hunter Education Administrator, Michael Weber, says more are needed.
“There’s a lot of ask for hunter education classes, so it’s really nice to push for those numbers and we realize you know there’s a need throughout the state to get those instructor numbers up so we can offer more opportunities for those classes,” said Weber.
