MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — A pier holding dozens of people collapsed on Madison’s Lake Mendota.
No serious injuries were reported when the pier, packed with up to 80 students, collapsed at the Memorial Union Monday afternoon.
The pier was scheduled to be taken down on Tuesday.
One person was treated at the hospital.
UW officials say they’re investigating.
