MADISON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) — Speaker Robin Vos says a childcare funding plan from Governor Tony Evers is just a short term solution
“Because the problem is, number one, our regulations are significantly more restrictive than even states around us which would make it easier to have more kids in childcare,” said Vos. “Number two, we need to make sure that we have more people in an easy easier licensure process to be able to go forward.”
Vos, at a press conference announcing proposed Republican tax cut, said they’ll offer child care legislation as well.
