(Reuters) – When U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo travels to Beijing next week she will carry the message that the United States is not seeking to decouple from China, White House national security advisor Jake Sullivan said on Tuesday.
Instead, he told a briefing, Raimondo would stress that the United States was focused on “protecting our national security and ensuring resilient supply chains alongside our allies and partners while we continue our economic relationship and our trade relationship”.
